Frequently asked questions

Is this only for large retailers?

No, quite the opposite. While major players are taking the first steps, the underlying protocols are open. This means that smaller, agile retailers who can adapt quickly can gain a huge advantage.

Do I have to rebuild my entire webshop?

No. Agentic Commerce is a 'headless' sales channel. It runs alongside your existing webshop and uses the same backend logic for products, inventory, and orders. We build the necessary API layer that connects to it.

Does this only work with Stripe?

No. Although the first version of ACP was developed in collaboration with Stripe, the protocol includes the 'Delegated Payments Specification'. This makes it possible to integrate with any Payment Service Provider, such as Adyen or Mollie.

What is the difference between ACP and AP2?

ACP (OpenAI) is specifically focused on e-commerce transactions. AP2 (Google) is a broader protocol for all kinds of interactions between AI agents and online services. We expect that retailers will eventually need to support both.
